manufacturing week

OCTOBER 1-5

South Dakota

Manufacturing

week  in

South Dakota’s manufacturing industry plays a key role in our state’s economy. From metal fabricating to wood, rubber and plastic materials, to transportation equipment and food products, manufacturing is prevalent and continues to thrive across South Dakota. Now in its sixth year, South Dakota Manufacturing Week, scheduled for October 1-5, 2018, is a week dedicated to showing appreciation, not only to the industry, but to the people who serve it. Fabricators, welders, developers and machinists help manufacture products we use daily, without us even realizing it. Please join us during the week of October 1-5, 2018, in celebrating an industry that serves consumers, employees and the worldwide economy. There’s no limit of involvement—host an open house, provide public tours, participate in a job fair—what ever and how ever your community or company wants to get involved shows appreciation for the manufacturing industry. Be sure to share your events with us by using #SDMfgWeek! Find us on Facebook, www.facebook.com/SDGOED, and Twitter, @SDGOED. Thank you for making this week a huge success in the past and we look forward to your involvement in 2018!
